Those are actually some pretty innovative concepts. I like how you would use the heated air to push away the cool air from the body of the truck, or the exhaust steam turbine. I haven't taken my fluids or thermo classes yet, so I wouldn't know what it would take to get those systems to work. Those ideas do seem like they would be worth looking into.
This is a really, really detailed concept and to be honest, I'd really like to see this on the road sometime, my only concern would be that some safety regulations might mess with the overall design if it ever hit the production line. But it'd still be wicked to see this on the roads in the future.
Was mainly thinking of some of the European regulations (they've been on my mind since Volvo unveiled their new FH series trucks), but I'm pretty sure you and Peterbilt are way more up to speed on the regulations than I am (I'm just a regular old mechanics student after all, we only get taught the regulations we need to know to repair the stuff!). So this is an actual concept that will be built in the future? Must be awesome to work on stuff like this.
